We’re pleased to announce that Crain’s has ranked Cockroach Labs #1 in the large companies category of its 2023 Best Places to Work in New York City list. This is the fourth year in a row Cockroach Labs has received this ranking in the large category.
The past year has been an evolution for Cockroach Labs. We grew in size, maturity, and knowledge. We welcomed our new President and CRO, Jason Forget and opened up our Austin office and India location. The strength and resilience of our community continue to be the bond that propels us forward.
Culture has been a top priority for Cockroach Labs since our inception. We knew we would not be able to scale without investing in a culture that fostered innovation, equal opportunity, collaboration, and above all, respect. Over the last several years, we have challenged the status quo and built programs like a more inclusive recruiting process and ensured support for employees and their families to balance personal and professional commitments.
The critical ingredient for all of those values and programs is flexibility. We will continue prioritizing that mission to provide an inclusive environment for all. We look forward to another year of growth and learning, whether those conversations are happening in our NYC HQ or other office locations, online, on stage at RoachFest our annual user conference, or sitting around a campfire at our next company offsite!
